Blessed to be born and raised in Franklin, TN & proud to have claimed Santa Barbara, CA home for 4.5 years. My favorite things are my Tennessee husband, our precious baby boy, kitten Ecco, pup Boone, hosting parties or small friend gatherings, NEST bamboo candles, red wine, traveling & seeking the next adventure God has for me.
When the guests leave the party, walk out the door, stop & think "that was special", then I have done my job. My goal is to create memorable events with my clients & accomplish more than just another party with booze & food. I specialize in detailed oriented intimate gatherings & festive large celebrations!
LIGHT is defined as something that ignites. When you are walking around a cocktail party, watching the bride & groom have their first kiss, sitting with family at an intimate dinner, or toasting your wife at an anniversary party, there is LIGHT. Grew up in the amazing town of Charleston, SC & have called Nashville home for 3 years. It truly is a blessing to live in such an inspiring city. On the weekends, you can catch me hanging out with friends, going to shows, facetiming my dog, riding bikes, or lounging around watching the latest Netflix documentaries.
I left my position as an IT Recruiter in October 2019 to pursue a creative career. I’ve always had a passion for throwing fun get togethers for my friends & fell into an assistant role with an event planner here in Nashville. It was like The Parent Trap scene where Lindsay Lohan follows Elizabeth James around while she designed wedding dresses.
Working the big extravagant events is just as exciting as the intimate friend gatherings -- seeing everything coming to life in the end always made my heart happy. I am excited to be a part of Sumner Smith’s team to help create those magical, unforgettable moments that you will cherish for a lifetime!
P.S. I make simple bright watercolors and refurbish forgotten pieces of furniture into statement elements for your home. Not only is there LIGHT in events, there is also LIGHT in your home everyday.
